If Social Security and Medicare is bankrupt, how can the Government legally demand people keep paying into it?
If an insurance company was bankrupt, their trading, buy/sell would be suspended; so how can the Government legally continue to charge/accept Social Security and Medicare withholding taxes from Americans? It is universally understood, the Government can’t pay up when the contract comes due for future retirees?

Insurance companies cant print money. The government can. Can you say "hello higher taxes and hyperinflation"?
The government has the power to force compliance and will continue to force people to pay into the system. If ObamaCare passes and Medicare is robbed of 500 billion dollars resulting in large numbers of doctors and hospitals not accepting Medicare as payment I think the American people will be making noise about this issue. Social security is going to be reformed with higher paycheck withholding and lower benefits. No company would be allowed to operate the way the government does, yet the demonization of business continues with the Obama administration.
Do you really think the gov. would ask you not to pay in taxes?
It’s called a ponzi scheme.If you can keep new investors coming in the scam keeps going. Lose those investors and it all come crumbling down, ask bernie madoff how well it works. And that’s why the fed is scared to death because when the regular folks finally have had enough they will be in trouble.
